European Preparatory Process
With the purpose of facilitating the organization of the Forum, the world has been divided into five regions by the WWF4 Secretariat. Europe is one of them. The aim of the European Region is to:
With the purpose of facilitating the organization of the Forum, the world has been divided into five regions by the WWF4 Secretariat. Europe is one of them. The aim of the European Region is to:
- Identify successful experiences and local actions that can be presented at the Forum
- Write a European Regional Document that shows the main water related problems in, that explains the progress made so far in solving them and that evaluates the future perspectives;
- Produce a brief paper that will be considered as an input for the Ministerial Conference;
- Encourage the registration on the 4th Forum website (www.worldwaterforum4.org.mx) of the organizations and institutions interested in being session conveners.
In order to achieve these objectives, the European Regional Committee has been set up. The Committee invites European water-related organizations to participate actively in the European preparatory process.
