Co-ordination for the Forum

The role of the European Regional Committee is to:

  • Promote the European preparatory process  
  • Propose sessions to be organized in Mexico 
  • Stimulate and propose local actions to be presented in Mexico  
  • Discuss and endorse the regional position paper and the conclusions 
  • Support input for the Ministerial Conference

    A number of organisations voluntarely initiated a European Operational Committee for the 4th World Water Forum. The European Operational Committee consists of:

    • Mr. Raymond Jost, Water Europe Solidarity
    • Ms. Sascha Gabizon, Women of Europe for a Common Future (WECF)
    • Mr Elisabeth Catton, World Water Council
